Overview

The Journal of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences(JFHSS) is a double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal published twice a year (June and December) by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Ruhuna. The objective of the peer-review process is to ensure that high quality scientific research is published. The authors are requested to submit their papers to the JFHSS which is intended to publish its next issue by December 2020.

Aims and scope

The main aim of the journal is to provide a platform for scholars, academics, researchers and professionals to publish their research papers covering a wide range of disciplines, including, but not limited to: Economics, Political Science, Social Statistics, Sociology, Geography, History and Archaeology, Pali and Buddhist Studies, Languages, Psycology and Education.The journal intends to publish articles written based on all aspects of theoretical, empirical or case-based research and it opens to all contributions from the above fields, highlighting recent developments in the respective area.
