This program was the eighth lecture of the online lecture series organized by the Sociological Association and the Department of Sociology ,University of Ruhuna . It was held on May 19, 2021. The keynote address was delivered by Professor Nirmal Ranjith Devasiri , University of Colombo . This discussion focused on addressing the social and historical impact of COVID-19 and how it can be evolved as a civilization crisis.
