The Department of Sociology of the University of Ruhuna and the Sociological Association jointly created the Facebook page “Sky in the Cyber Space” on October 6, 2018. The main objective of creating this page was to successfully carry out educational and social programs jointly conducted by the Sociological Association and the Department of Sociology. Accordingly, this FB page was successfully updated by the Sociological Association under the supervision of the Department of Sociology. Today, this FB page is surrounded by a large number of people including students and lecturers from other universities outside UOR, schoolchildren and social activists.
