The book Launch of “Wings of Brotherhood”, “Vimarsha ” and “Prathimana” journals of the
Department of Sociology, were held on 08th of March, 2021 at the auditorium of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences from 2pm. Senior Professor Sujeewa Amarasena, The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna was the chief guest of this occasion. “The wings of Brotherhood” was based on the experiences from the Jaffna visit of students of the department of Sociology and Vimarsha and Prathimana were based on the academic articles provided by undergraduates and academics respectively. The books were launched by The Vice Chancellor and he officially released the E-copies of these publications to the university website as well.
