On November 12, 2018, the representatives of the Iranian Embassy had a discussion with the Sociological Association of the University of Ruhuna to carry out several programs at the University of Ruhuna with their full support. This discussion was held at the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The discussion was held successfully with the participation of the representative of the Iranian Embassy, Veteran Film and Cinematography Director Danushka Goonetileke , Prof. Upali Pannilage, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Senior Lecturer Suranjith Gunasekara on behalf of the Department of Sociology and Vice President, Nimantha Gayashan Perera and Chief Editor Lahiru De Zoysa on behalf of the Sociological Association.
