Biography:

Ms. L.G.D.S. Yapais a Probationary Lecturer attached to the Department of Geography, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka, where she has been since 2015. From 2013 to 2015, she joined the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka as a Temporary Lecturer in Geography. She received the B.A.(hons) with a First class, from the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in 2012, and both the M.A. degree in Geography and the PGD in Water Resources Management from the University of Peradeniya in 2015 and 2018 respectively. Currently, she is reading her Ph.D. in UniversitiSains Malaysia (USM) in the field of Irrigated Agriculture and Water Resources Management.
