Biography:

Dr. G.C.L. Gamage is a Grade 1 Senior Lecturer attached to the Department of History & Archaeology, University of Ruhuna. She is the current Head of the respective Department. She has been working in University of Ruhuna from 2003 to date. She is an expert on Modern History, Conflict Resolution and Peace Building related studies. She has accumulated considerable national and international experience in these fields. Taking advantage of her expertise, she is presently conducting a number of course units in the Department dealing with these subject areas. She received her BA, MPhil and PhD degrees in Modern History.
