Biography:

Primary education at St Mary’s School, Bedfordhire (UK)& Castle Hill Primary, Cupar, Fife, Scotland;secondary education atSanghamittaBalikaVidyalaya, Galle (Sri Lanka), and higher education at the universities of Peradeniya and Jawaharlal Nehru Universities. Worked in the University of Colombo prior to appointment at the University of Ruhuna.
