Biography:

Dr. Nandasiri Keembiyahetti, had his primary education from G/Welivitiya Maha Viddyalaya and the secondary education from G/ Nagoda Royal College. He got his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Peradeniya with a first class honor in Economics (1998). He got his Msc from the National University of Singapore (2008) and PhD from the University of Colombo (2016)

He started his professional career as an executive officer at Seylan Bank PLC and joined University of Ruhuna in 2003 as a probationary lecturer. He is currently in senior lecturer Grade-1. He has held many administrative positions in university, including, student counselor, Director Career Guidance, Faculty coordinator of Staff Development , Project Activity Coordinator, Academic career advisor, Management Board Member, Chairman of Conferences, chief editor and editorial board member etc.

Dr Kembiyahetti has authored 3 books, co-authored 1 book, edited 5 Books, commissioned 8 consultancy / Evaluation reports for external bodies, published 7 Research Articles (in international Refereed Journals), 17 Research Articles (in national Refereed Journals) 10 Abstracts, 15 citations, 30 Articles in Domestic National Papers. He has conducted 16 teacher training workshops as the key resource person and delivered 50 Keynote addresses.
