Biography:

Nisantha Kurukulasooriya is working for the department of Economics, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka as a senior lecturer in the field of Statistics. He has graduated with a First Class pass in Statistics and then achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura. He has achieved a Master of Science in Applied Statistics from the University of Colombo and the same university has offered a PhD for his research on Statistical and econometric modelling for higher education in Sri Lanka. He has trained in Indian Statistical Institute and JNU, India.
